i had a man to call me for aleast 2 month his name was or is douglas brown but his name didnt match his accent like africain, saying i was being sued for 6,500 dollars he had my last number of my ss number my brother name .an stated if i didnt pay me my brother an employer were going to jail an i would not recieve any ss benefits. when i called the number bck he couldnt be reach an i couldnt leave a mgs what could of agency is that. they can call you leave a return number but they can be reach.call your bbb in your city or state listen an enter the number you wish to get info on. this is your best defense

Just received a call from a "jimmy" who states I must call today OR ELSE the choice will be mine and God Bless. Total scam, fight back!

They have been cal lining and harassing me also. I am wondering if it is coming from an online credit card application i did. There is a lot more information on these scammers at 800notes.com. You will see how low they are.

I received a call from these people yesterday and today at my place of work. Yesterday she told me i was being sued but when i asked her by whom she told me i needed to call her back that evening. When i tried to call her the voice mail box was unable to receive messages. Today they also called me and i called them back from my cell phone during my lunch break and they said i was being sued for a cash advance non payment and check fraud. I proceeded to tell the man named mike that i had never had a payday check bounce and when i asked him when it happened he told me it was last year but he did not tell me a date. He did mention i needed to pay over 600 by the end of the day or someone would be coming to my work or home to serve papers and arrest me. Also a year ago i did not even have a checking account so i never used payday advances. I called my local police department and told them about it and they said it was probably a scam

These assholes called my work number twice. Once they said it was a police matter and the second time they said they were a law firm. They also called my cell and threatened me with arrest. I know they are a scam and cursed them out royally. I spoke with the people they allegedly represent and received verification of this. I could not understand his name as he spoke with a heavy Indian accent. I think they might be affiliated with another out of country outfit trying to pull the same scam.
