I too have recieved numerous calls from this supposed collection agency,saying they are calling from a law firm in 1st California and then New York.They said I owed money to a payday loan company,but would not give me the name so I could contact them and tell them personally I don't owe anyone any money.They said they were going to lodge a law suit against me and my family.They have called me at work,on my cell phone,and also have called my elderly mother to threaten her.They say that are from Academic Consolidation Services and also from Affadavit Services,niether of which I can find on the internet.I have turned them into the States Attorney Generals office and have an ongoing dialogue with one of the States Attorneys who says this is a scam and to hang up.I have now gone to screening all of my calls in my office and my cell phone which is very inconvenient for me as you all can atest to that have been going through this hassle with these people.These men speak very broken english and they are very hard to understand when I listen to the messeges or have actually spoken to them when I answer my cell phone by accident!!!

calls me, my family and my work. states I owe some cash advance place money. left me messages threatening that if I don't call back in a minute they will contact my employer. That there is a lawsuit against my name and ssn. When I called them back I requested info in writing and was told they did not have to give me a hard copy of anything. Spoke broken English, had to ask the man to repeat himself many times. I have left a message with the local county attorney''s office, this is some kind of shake down, trying to intimidate people into believing they have to pay them to keep out of court.

i received 2 calls in less than 15 minutes from place claming to be Academic Consolidation Services, two names i got were
John Mark or Markum and Alex Stewart. Neither person spoke english well enough to understand everything. 2nd time they called i asked who the he** they thought they were and the man that goes by John let out a string of filthy cuss words the likes of which ive never heard from an employee before! HE SAID if i didnt call them back they would send the police out to arrest me .but he said "will send the cops to come and pick you up" which is totally illegal. I have kept the voicemails they left me threatening to send the police to my house as well.then Alex Stewart (presumably) said he was from the legal departmnt of said business and that i would be taken to court, and if i didnt show up in court , he would send police to my house as well. he REFUSED to tell me who they were collecting for and hung up on me after I told him I would sue them for harrassment as well as threats well beyond legal channels
