They claimed to represent Microsoft Corporation and wanted to walk me through fixing a virus on my computer. They would not answer me when I asked them to verify who they were.
This caller falsely claimed they were with Microsoft, and had been receiving error messages from my computer. I hung up immediately, as Microsoft does not have my home phone number.
Scam: caller states that he is a microsoft certified technician in my area and that they are receiving reports of viruses on my machine, and then they want me to startup my machine and give them control of it.
I asked them to tell me which machine, but he couldn't (I have several). I then informed him that I would be calling the police and hung up. He immediately called back and started singing and yelling into the phone. These guys are not legit, do not answer or use their "service"
