Repeated phone calls from man in accented English, pretending to be calling from Microsoft about errors in a Windows installation. This is hardly believable, but maybe some people do believe it. We knew it instantly for a scam.

We tried to be politely dismissive on the first few, but he kept calling back, sometimes within a minute or so. When told in no uncertain terms not to call again, he became EXTREMELY abusive, and used words which I will not repeat here -- f-word, c-word, sexual acts, you name it. It was truly disgusting.
