East Indian voice saying something is wrong with your computer

A male with an indian accent called claiming he was from Microsoft and that they detected problems with my computer. I knew from them calling beforehand on an unlisted number that it was a scam and told him if he was from Microsoft he knows my email address and to contact me via email instead of telephone and not to call here again. Then hung up, he didn't call back. I reported the number to the FCC and to my telephone company.

Promoted computer repair services from The Microsoft Corporation. Heavy indecipherable Middle Eastern accents, did not answer any of my questions. Microsoft doesn't make unsolicited phone calls.

Just received a call from this number. Male with Oriental accent claiming to be from Microsoft. Claimed to have a report from my computer with detected malware and spyware. He asked for me to use the cmd prompt and was trying to gain access to my computer. So I told him that his call was BS because Microsoft would not be calling me. He was trying to scam people. Then he hung up. Caller ID listed the name as MGL BPO.

Again, male with indian accent claiming to be from microsoft, saying that something was wrong with my computer. wanted me to link my computer with his so that he could download an expensive program. Asked for my credit card number, but I refused and hung up, looking online and finding out that this number is indeed a scam.

Just received a call from this number. Male with Indian accent claiming to be from Microsoft. Claimed to have a report from my computer with detected malware and spyware. I asked for the time stamp on the report and he had no idea what I was talking about So I told him that his call was BS because Microsoft has a time stamp on all reports and that he was trying to scam people. Then I hung up. Caller ID listed the name as MGL BPO. No idea what that could possibly mean. Just glad I got the call instead of my elderly mother or hysterical brother.
