Court scam. You won't be able to call back the number on your caller ID, But thanks to a poster below, you can call 844-279-7600 and get through. I sounded stern and pointed out that the number on my caller ID does not go through, and that I had to search on the web to come up with this number. Whoever answered gave the impression that he knew that I knew that they were up to no good and offered to remove my phone number. This is the kind of scam that needs to be reported to the FTC and FCC and whatever has jurisdiction over these kinds of scumbags.

The reason for my call today is we have a court summons that is scheduled to be served to you at this time we have a county officially in route to the location to arrive within the hour and we need to verify someone over the age of 18 will be available for servicing. It is showing to field service attempt on record at this time. You currently are in jeopardy of missing your court date. You must report immediately to the issuing office at area code 2. I'm sorry area code 844-279-7600. Reference docket number ________. Thank you and consider yourself notified." SCUMBAGS! My household is smart enough to know this is a scam, but I feel so bad for all those people (especially the elderly) that would get scared by these a-holes!
