I agree. My mother has dementia along with a brain injury and is incapable of making decisions. I explained that I have a power of attorney. They did not call her on a 3 way or ask for the copy of the POA before they starting giving info that they said was confidential due to it being a legal matter. No reputable entity would have dealt with me based on me saying that I have a power of attorney with no proof. There were several other red flags as well. One being that I talked to 3 different people and was given 3 different amounts.
