I have been getting (usually) 1 call each day. Trips my answer machine, but no one ever leaves a message. When I have been home and answered, no one speaks. One time, it appears that someone somehow put a "buzzer" my line, which made my answer machine fail to recognize the disconnect, and kept running until the unit was out of memory -- about 15 minutes of "buzz."
So far, today, 3 calls have come in, but no one ever speaks. Seems silly to me. After all, if you want to collect money, to try to get people to donate, why piss off your potential donors?? Doesn't make much sense. I suspect a scam, but I have no real information on the callers.
I hope their fingers fall off.
