Got a call at 10:11 AM. No caller ID - left no message. I called the number back and got a fax tone.

No idea what the person wanted because I could barely understand what they were saying, all I could make out was they were looking for a Mr. Jacobs and when I said there was no one by that name here, they hung up on me. I tried calling the number back but it sounded like a fax machine.

For me, this is apparently a business, calling for a past due amount ... they've either mis-dialed the intended number or have the wrong phone number on file. Call received (my google voice #) and a message left:

"Hi, I'm looking for [Jane Doe], I'm calling from blah department. I just want to verify your billing address is xxxxx blah Point Lane xxxxx. I'd also like to remind her of her remaining balance of $xxx.xx. I'm calling from 877-794-653, thanks and have a nice day"

I was unable to make out the company name as the person didn't speak clear enough.
