This phone number is for a collection company that say its car & associates.there real name is chase asset recovery..a collection company that will mis represent themselves as a legal firm. Im in the process of suing them as i type for violation of the fair debt collection practice act.

This person left me a voicemail saying my information had been used in fraudulant activity and asking me to call 1-877-286-9269. When I called back the 214 number it went to a voicemail for C.A.R. Associates. They mentioned in the voicemail that they needed to confirm my ssn and id number and a few other things. A google search brought up a ton of scam information involving C.A.R. Associates and the 1877 number. The phone company had already had reports of this number. Do not give them any info, this is a scam!
