Call on home phone, asked for my son who is 15. She said she was "from the school." I asked what school and she gave the name of his HS. I handed the phone to him, and it was a sales pitch for an "appreciation plaque" for his parents. He told her he wasn't interested. I suspect this is a phishing scam and will not answer this number again. We also don't know anyone in Dallas.

Called one evening asking for my teenage son who wasn't home. The guy said to say "Steven" called. The next day, he called but this time asked for my young daughter who wasn't home. My son was the one who answered that time, and the guy just said he'd call back. Checked reverse directory and don't know this person. It's a Dallas number but we live in Arlington. I looked on other sites and saw a complaint about the number saying it was a collection agency number that was hassling someone. It makes me worried this guy knows both of my kids' names.
