Indians
Automated message from IRS, threatening that the assets and bank accounts will be seized, the frequency of the call was every hour.
The caller pretend to be an IRS agent ,the frequency of the call is everyday
A man of Indian decent claiming to be a federal FBI agent called and left a message stating that he has IRS paperwork that was filed in court on my address pending legal action. I called the number back (and after 14 attempts - the number either hung up automatically, or had a busy signal) spoke to this "agent". He started to talk very fast about the IRS, and that he was a special agent, and that he needed to verify my address and information. At that point, I begin to question who he was, and asked if he could provide me with a reference number, or an agent number. He immediately hung up the phone. Please beware of callers like this. They use very "scary names" like "IRS", "Court", "FBI", "Special Agent" etc, in an attempt to get as much information from you out of anxiety. The IRS sends information via written documentation; they do NOT make phone calls. I have linked an article below to provide information on what I believe I was a victim of. Be safe!
