******************************************************I have found one way to block these kind of calls, well you have to receive one first and then you can block the number just like saving a number on your cell phone or any advanced phone, the phone I've talking about is the Panasonic model number KX -TGA641 which is my personal home phone. After you receive the call you have the choice to save the number to your phone book or to Call Block and I simple save it to call block, it will store up to 50 phone numbers in this data bank. It will also save 200 numbers in your regular phone book. When the solicitor calls you they will get a busy signal on their end and you will get a half ring on your end to let you know that a call has came through, here is a list of numbers that I've checked out to be telephone solicitors within the last 3 months: This first number is one that they like to use because regular telephone service will not block it but the Panasonic will 1-000-000-0000, 1-402-952-4444, 1-212-897-0541, 1-941-355-3333, 1256-606-4139, 1256-886-3142, 1-703-291-9005, 1-516-453-5562, 1-786-358-5655, 1-256-280-2171, 1-855-232-9534, 1-855-348-2371, 1-888-888-8888(another one that gets around regular phone block systems), 1-617-778-2270, 1-256-261-2605, 1-888-521-4010, 1-256-261-2606, 1-256-261-2607, 1-256-939-4939. To this date I have eliminated 20 telemarketers calling my home phone, they still call because I get the little half ring that lets me know this, I began sending Panasonic and Sony and Vtech, Uniden and several others the idea to add this to their technology since the arrival of CID and being able to block unnecessary calls to your home phone.
