They wanted my credit card number for something I bought. So I gave them my cc number from a government agency. After I hung up, I called govt services and notified a 3 letter agency that this number was selling/using govt cc numbers.

Person on other line said my girlfriend gave birth to a boy. They need my info to complete the medical insurance.

She said I had ordered something and the call was a confirmation (when I know I had not ordered anything) then he wanted all my information, like credit card info. Obviously it was a scam and did not fall for it but I do not want these thieves calling me anymore because it is annoying.

Call from Vista? Supposedly won a $250 gas card for using my credit card recently. They will send it at no charge but need to pay $2.50 for shipping and handling. Also there will be a trial subscription of a credit card protection plan included but if you don't want it you need to cancel it on your own.
