I called Direct tv and they said they do not do business this way. There was no record of them calling me with any offer. They made a record of the incident and their phone number.

They call every day! I have never answered but it is very annoying!

every time they've called me in the past, they've tried to give me a few months of free Showtime and Stars.... it's one of those deals...free for a month or 3 months whatever the time is, then if you don't call and cancel it, then it gets added to your bill. I believe they are an independent company, that gets a commission from Showtime when they make a sale....probably have different numbers they use to call DISH and the various cable company customers....This number is connected to "DirecTV Offers"... another number they use is probably DISH TV Offers, and the caller ID for it is likely just DISH TV and of course, they only call DISH subscribers....lead you to believe you are talking to a company you already do business with... DirecTV will never call you with these kinds of promotions....they send them to you in your bill or send a msg directly to your TV....

I am a DirecTV customer but they don't need to call every day.

i get a phone call everyday by this number. Caller ID states it's DIRECTV yet DirecTV say they have no history of calling me.
