new cell phone, only gave the number to my immediate family. they still call twice a day. no message is left and no one is on the phone. called the number back and got a recording the company was closed.... less than a minute after they called me.

I'm already signed up on do not call. Apparently they feel they aren't required to follow laws.

Aspen Media calls me at least once a day and hangs up when I answer. Then, when I called them back to ask them to stop calling me, they hung up on me again. Now they won't answer their phone when I call.

They have called me on several occasions, once on Sunday afternoon. Never has there been anyone on the other line. I did a little research and came up with contact info.. including the VP and CEO. I sent an email to both and received an email back almost immediately stating he would take me off their list. Interestingly, if you call the number and use extension 481 after hours, you get the VP's office message which gives the PERSONAL CELL NUMBERS of all the company officers. I was half way temped to make some unsolicited calls myself but opted for the emails instead. Here is the info.. Enjoy. They said they were calling on behalf of Maryland Natural Resources Department (MRD) survey. When, I said, "I will check with MRD", person on the other end hung-up. I received two calls.
