They said that there was a fraudulent misuse of my SSN and if I did not respond there would be a warrant issued for my arrest and my SSN would be suspended.

Received a call while at work and here is what I received on my voicemail word for word "for I repeat it's (414) # then given) --deliver it, ignorance of this message will be considered intentional attempt of nonappearance.."

Now I work for the government and I certainly don't live in Florida nor anywhere that would involve a 414 area code. I receive these things almost daily from different numbers with some other new scam---those that receive ones about Department of Treasury can report the numbers on the IRS webpage I believe, under TIGTA.

PLEASE BE CAREFUL AND AVOID CALLS FROM NUMBERS YOU DO NOT RECOGNIZE! BETTER SAFE, THAN SORRY RIGHT?

I've gotten multiple calls from this number and it is always something different. The one I got a few minutes ago was about a grant that I was selected for then another call I answered a while back to tell them to stop calling was an opportunity for going back to school. The first one I got from them was about the IRS, I owe money, and have a warrant. I have them labeled as Scam on my phone and they constantly call even after saying to stop, or pressing 1 as I was supposed to do "to get off the call list".

I simply don't answer calls that I don't recognize. Name on caller I.D. says Allied Interstate. Don't know anyone in the area code....don't answer. I'm sure it's another scam.

I received a call from a woman with a thick accent. She claimed the government wanted to give me a grant. She then started going over my personal information. She asked me to verify my name and address after she repeated it. then she wanted my Date of Birth. I told her I had already been scammed by an internet marketing company for a lot of money that I was currently paying credit cards back on and I no longer gave personal information over the phone. She immediately disconnected the call. My caller ID identified the number as (305)356-9999

I received all AFTER visiting Miami. I stayed all Icon Brickell and used my credit at various places. I wonder HOW they got my number. Perhaps people could list where they stayed and went to in Miami so we can FIGURE OUT how they got our numbers

This guy with an incredibly thick foreign, possibly middle eastern, accent called me leaving me a voice mail claiming to be calling on behalf of the IRS AND stating that I owe the IRS money and that I'm hiding something from the government which is completely false!!! My taxes were already successfully and accurately filed this year for 2014 and I have been filing my taxes since 16 so I am aware of what I'm doing and I do not owe the IRS any thing!!! Be very aware and protective of yourself both on line in the cyber world as well as out in the real world. Take care guys and protect personal info. There's so many ass holes out there just waiting for vulnerable people to slip and give up personal info. Beware of scammers people!

Same type of guy just called me and said I was selected by the IRS to receive a $9000.00 grant. He was going to western Union it to me... really? Every time I questioned him he would just say "yeah, yeah, yeah"

Telemarketer phone call. Left no message. Telemarketer violated telemarketing law by calling on Sunday. Law prohibit them from doing that. Number will be reported to federal no call list for dialing no call number.

a male who does not speak very good English calls and says that they are receiving a report from my computer. It's a scam to get access to your computer to get all your information I know this for a fact because I called windows and they said that they do not call people when a computer sends a report. people have to call Windows when they are having trouble.
