First Eric Johnson called and than had me hold for someone else. Said I had a case number from Cash Advance that was not paid. I have had pay day loans but would be glad to pay anything back but I feel this is a scam. How do you find out if it is a scam. They have threaten to come to the Court house, garnish my wages, ect.
i got a call monday morning threating the police was going to be at my house in 24 hours or less i have applied to loans but i never finished or i didnt get approved and i have did this online and he want stop calling
This guy called my girl and told her that he is from some legal company. He said she needed to pay $475 immediately or go to court and lose her job. My girl asked if he could provide paper work about the "legal issue" and he got mad and said he can't provide it. Once he knew she wouldn't pay, he hangs up. I called this number and told him I want to make a payment. he immediately asks for a credit card number. I told him I didn't have one. He said I would need to pay by Western Union. I told him I want his name, company, and address and that I would pay him in person. He didn't give up the info. Well................GUESS WHAT? I hacked his info. See below. I reported him to the FBI. We'll see what happens.

Make sure you call him by name and make him aware that you know his location. I constantly call him and he is getting irritated.
He is calling using a Magic Jack.
Those are scam. Don't give them any information. I had experienced before. They will leave you some threatening message that you will be behind the bar. I know it is ignoring but don't talk to them. When they know that they can't get any money from you, they will stop calling. They know our personal info because those are not that hard to get. So don't afraid.
I received a call from "Eric Johnson" also. He called me at WORK saying I was involved in a case of internet fraud, that I had gotten a loan from Cash Advance & never paid it back. While I did APPLY for a loan thru them I never completed the transaction -- i.e. I never received money from them. I told him he was mistaken that I didn't owe anyone money & he became very angry. He started yelling at me that the police were going to come arrest me. He had a thick foreign accent, but I'm not sure where he was from.
