Called me from 201-221-3300. Caller was unable to handle legitimate questions such as Are you a private for profit organization? They responded by hanging up on me.

These are scammers, THEY DO NOT CARE IF YOU ARE ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST. They do not check the list. The robo-call everyphone and maybe on 1 out of 100 falls for scam and they make a profit. Download a call blockers, there are several. Anytime you report the number as spam, it blocks it for everyone else who has the app. File complaints with FTC, and they go after these people.

Since I never had a student loan or any loan overdue, it is spam and or a scammer trying to get your info. Great job Obamma has done with the DONOTCALL registry, huh?

Called me claiming to be "Tiffany" from national student loan organization. Said my student loans had been flagged for a payment reduction. However, I paid off all my student loans years ago. Spam.

Here we go again.....but instead of winning a Bahama cruise (I'm own a trael agency) . . . hearing about car insurance bargains (that aren't).....now it's student loans (I'm 75 years old, graduated from college 53 years ago and have never had a loan and not starting now).

And yes, I'm on the national and state Do Not Call lists - for all the good they do.

Bill: Same student loan recording; also on Do Not Call list in Missouri and never had a student loan. Calling a government cell phone never connected with any commercial transaction or loan.
