i have gotten two calls like this, when i pick up noone answers. is this # a virus??

Started getting calls on 11/28/10 calling every hour. I had this happen once before from another Cali # and was told that they are actually calling from oversees somewhere - Nigerian Scam thing. A detective from our local Pd told me not to answer because they can somehow tie into your phone for info and/or make it so that when they call others your number comes up, something like that.

When I answered no one would respond, and then the call disconnected.

have had numberous calls!
