Got this call with an automatic system asking to press 1 to speak to someone about lowering interest rate on credit card. The automatic message did not mention any bank name or what type of credit card (i.e. Mastercard Visa, etc). I did not press 1 because I figured it was a scam.

Thanks for the info! But Los Angeles, CA does have a 310 area code.
