Same as everyone else. Kansas Association of Chiefs of Police calling. They asked how I was, and I said good, now don't call me anymore. He said Ok, and hung up.
Since this is a new number, it was not on the Do Not Call Registry. I just put it on there, so when they call next, I'll be letting them know this, and reporting them.
I received a call today. Weird call, high pressure sales and they acted like I had given money to their charity previously which I have not done. He asked me if I would be willing to committing to help with missing children. I asked what committment he was looking for and he mentioned a cash donation, but never mentioned the amount. When I told him no that I couldn't afford it he again asked me to commit to a $25 dollar donation. I again declined and he let me know he would call me again next year. Did I mention I am on the do not call list...apparently it doesn't apply to police charities.
I did call back and I got a voicemail for the Kansas Association of Chiefs of Police.
Received several calls from this number; sometimes, I can hear nothing, other times I hear people but no one speaks or says anything, they just hang up.
The time my husband answers he could hear people but they wouldn't talk. They call several times a day and have for weeks.
these guys call and try to pressure, sayying kids lives are in YOUR hands.. things like that. You tell them no and they just keep calling.
