Same message here about the US treasury. As if they are going to contact by phone - they would use legal means to contact someone. I ignored it but it makes me mad as I know people will fall for it and get scared.

called back this number today and persons with an indian accent threatened me that irs was on their way to arrest me if I didn't pay 6,900, dollars immediately told me to drive to bank and go to walgreens to get paypal cards with my cash and bring my cell along and don't tell anyone. Was so ticked off that these people are probably stealing tons of money from nieve old folks that I spent the day me my family and friends calling them and playing games with them all day letting them think they were going to collect money. We called from all different phones claimed to be different people and scammed them right back hour after hour. Hope it saved at least one person from getting ripped off. Believe me they were getting stressed by us. They actually started to block some of our numbers. If anyone and their friends and family can do the same it can make a difference. Will be back on the phone tomorrow to do the same. will get some other family memebers and friends to participate...
