I see this number on my caller ID all the time. They never leave a message and when I tried to dial the number, I got a message that it is disconnected. Is this the Fraternal Order of Police? Those people are like gum on your shoe.

How do I block this number from my land line phone? They are calling me two or three times a week for the past two months.

Yes they called me and gave no name but said he was from VFW and serving over 1000 disabled veterans and they wanted a donation and then wanted to send someone to come by and pick up a check at my home address. I told them I wanted to hunk about and he said he would call back later.

Just got a call from this number. However, the caller ID indicated, "Unknown Caller," and we never answer any calls that don't identify themselves. It should be noted that, I have my online AT&T controls set to reject unknown or anonymous callers, automatically, so I suspect they circumvent blocking by spoof-naming themselves "Unknown Caller." The computer probably can't tell the difference, and assumes, that is a real name.

Asked for a particular person, exceedingly snide when I said they had the wrong number. First call today they did not leave a message.
