Caller claimed to be Marshall (heavy foreign accent) from Microsoft. This is the second such call this week from these people claiming to be employed by Microsoft.
Have been in touch with Microsoft, and this absolutely is a scam! These people want individuals to give them internet access to take contol of your computer under the pretense of removing viruses and trojans they say are sending messages or alerts to Microsoft. Do NOT be fooled. Microsoft does not randomly call people to fix errors, and you will be putting your system and any private data, passwords, social security info, etc that you store on you system at risk!
