Had the same phone call and same information yesterday and then this morning, He said he was our nephew and gave us the same story, it is scary how they know all your personal information...
Some S.O.B. called my mother yesterday, saying he was my cousin from Mexico and would be coming to Houston today. He gave her some story about getting a visa from the cell phone company he works for and that he was driving someone's truck here to Houston with a friend who was going to stay in San Antonio. She then got a call this morning from some a-hole saying he was some kind of chief of police in Reynosa. He gave her the story that my cousin had been in an accident, had crashed his truck into a motorcycle ahead of him and the woman riding in back had suffered severe head injuries. He told my mother that the man driving the motorcycle had beaten up my cousin, breaking his arm and now she had to send 22,000 dollars to keep from being arrested. These effers need to be the ones in jail for trying to take advantage of people like this!
Got a call from a guy in Mexico saying he was my nephew. He said he was on his way to san Antonio to buy a vehicle , and that he was coming to visit me in Houston, bearing all sorts of gifts. Including cheese, candy, tequila, and shoes. Going safari as asking for my shoe size. Then I called my nephew and found out that it wasn't him. Then he called the next day saying he was almost here, but he had a delay Nd it would take him a little while longer. I told him the gig was up. I had talked to my real nephew and I new he was lieing. He still tried to convince me, but when I told him that I had been expecting his call and had a policemen with me, he Hung up. I did some research and found out that the area code 333 is from Manzanillo, Mexico. They are probably using a phone card, and a local area phone book for your area. Be on alert!
