CALL from 206-201-1847. The person/robot said she was from National Insurance Foundation of America. I asked what products/insurance companies they represented and she rattled off the standard companies. I was asked my zip code and first name and told that I could save on auto insurance. I check this regularly so I know the process and I was curious. I was sent to the agent who started asking me info. I stated that I would not give them any more information and the agent asked if I knew that she could not give me a quote. I said that I realize that, so it seems this phone call is over and hung up. No stress and took less than a minute.

This is a robot. Have some fun, try to confuse it. I outright asked if she was a robot, after a pause that is extremely awkward and unnatural in human conversation, she gave out a few disarming chuckles and assured me she was a human. When asked if I wanted to talk to a representative, she had no answer why she (a human, and definitely not a robot) couldn't help me. And the phone was disconnected.

I got a call from the number: 440-249-0827
Samantha from National Insurance Foundation. asked basic yes/no questions and then something spooked her so she hung up.

I received a call from an ohio number. She asked basic yes/no questions about driving history. When i said I am not a home owner she absurdly hung up.

scam caller trying to sell car insurance national insurance foundation of NA, they said they were a nonprofit. Asked if I owned a home to reduce insurance cost. I added they sounded automated!!

Got a call from 347-263-8001 and they wanted to lend me money. That needed my bank info. Some Indian guy. Don't give out your info. Called the no. Back its out of order. BEWARE

Don't panick and get upset. These people use computerized autodialers to find live phone numbers of people to scam. If they get just one out of every 100 people to fall for it...you do the math! DO NOT GIVE ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION TO ANYONE OVER THE PHONE. Always check on your own any request for money or info - look up the correct number from a monthly statement or phone listing - NOT the number the caller provides. You would have many received written requests long before "harassing phone calls"! Just block the number and report it to the appropriate authorities of your state. These are just scare tactics they employ that work - obviously, or they would not use them. There is nothing the caller can or will do to you - you are just a random number to them. If you receive the calls at work, explain this to your employer and have them file harassment complaints.

They were just caught in a lie and try to back out when hard copy of said paperwork was requested. also caught in lie about knowing my employer. If you are called tell to send all paperwork by mail.
