I have been dealing with these people for the past couple of days. They have continuously called my work and cell number and threatened me with a lawsuit, verbally abusing me, etc. I have been contacted by ACLS, ACS, American Legal Services...all the same company and different names: Alex Parker, Alex Proctor, Alex Rodriquez, John Smith, Amen Watson. All claiming to be lawyers with this firm, but their phone numbers are 3030 adn 3027. So...I put them against each other and that's been fun. I contacted the Social Security Administration, Federal Trade Commission, my local police department, security at work and my bank. They actually called my bank this morning while I was there getting all new accounts and debit card stating that he was me and my debit card was not working and he was trying to pull $500 out of my account. The bank manager said he cursed him out for not cooperating and hung up on him. File all the claims against these people you can. Also contacted the IC3.gov which is a cyber crime FBI unit.

These people have left harassing messages on my cell phone and work phone threatening a lawsuit or investigation against my social security number. The caller used the name "Ben Johnson" but sounded Indian, and I really could not understand what he was saying. He said he was calling from the legal department of ACS, but there was no explanation of who ACS is. What can be done about this?

After four days of harassing phone calls to my dad at work I started looking for the number and found this blog. I decided to call with a fake name to see what they would tell me. Of course I owed them money even though I wasn't real. I started out all freaked out asking a whole bunch of questions and asking them where I was supposed to send them money. Then they asked me where I worked and I said I thought you had that information and they said they had to make sure it was me so I told them I was a secretary at a law firm and they quickly told me that they had the wrong name pulled up on the computer and there was no one by that name in there system and didn't understand why someone would have called me to tell me I was being investigated. He hung up on me.

My mother called pretending to be a lawyer and tried to ask questions they hung up on her four times and started cussing her out. They said they were going to have her arrested and put in prison for harassing them. They told my dad that they will call his work 100 times a day just to get him fired from his job because he won't pay them. They scare you by saying you are being watched... How the hell can you watch someone from New York or my case, they say they are from California with a New York area code. I filed a complaint with the California Attorney General so I hope they get these guys who are making $1,000 off of scared people who don't know what’s going on and just want them to stop calling them at work or home.

They are the worse kind of people... People who don't speak English and have your SSN. DO NOT PAY THEM ANYTHING. Call them back with a lawyer or pretend to be one. They get scared and start yelling at you and they threaten to hurt you and put you in jail. The names change daily from Tony Williams, Roy Rogers, and Shaun Michaels. They won't have anything to do with you if they think you have connections with the police department or any kind of law firm. The more questions you ask the more threats they try to throw at you and the more money they try to ask for. They tell you if you get legal advice it could take too long and you will be put in jail before your lawyer even gets back to you. File a complaint with your police department to stop the phone calls and file complaints anywhere you can think of to help stop these people from getting any more information or money out of people.

This person had an Indian accent, same # called me with an attitude very aggressive saying they were going to file a law suit against my SSN and I need to call them back.

Left message threatening to file a lawsuit against my SSN. Foreign accent hard to understand. No clue what this is about.
