I have been receiving this call and decided to play the game. It was my late mothers number. She would have been in her eighties. 347-763-6194 was the number I should call back. I did. Officer irs Smith answered. He asked my name and I said I didn't want to give it and that they called me and had my number. He asked me if I was **** which was my late mothers name. I played along and he said I owed $2400.00. That if I agreed to pay and settle outside the court house he would connect me to someone else. I said I didn't have the money and he said he could not help me. He said the suit was filed and there was nothing for me to do if I didn't pay it then. I asked if I could make payments and he said no. We parted ways. He was very nice. Lol. Poor people that do not know better. Maybe people who owe money get scared or older people like my mom if she were alive. I did mention that I would like to talk to my children and he said I had to do it know. This is so sad! I wonder if they will call back...

I called and this number they called me on belonged to my late mother. They asked my name and I did not give it. They asked me if I was my mothers name and I played along. Just got the call. Not calling back based on what I've read.

Total scammers! When I called to tell them to NEVER call my number again, they hung up. So, I called back and the person who answered said "Guns don't kill people, People kill people!" How do these people sleep at night??? Scum!!!

Friend received several phone calls w/ man claiming his name is Officer Danny Smith and he's calling from Treasury of Internal Revenues. SCAM!!!

Obviously a phishing scam. Get a life you losers!

Received call from "IRS" at 213.141.5163 advising me to call this number. I did and asked the man who answered if they were going to come cuff me. Then I asked him what he was wearing and asked if he wanted to know what I was wearing. Told him I was hoping to be wearing handcuffs soon and asked if he was going to haul me away in his giant black SUV....I finally couldn't prevent myself from laughing so had to hang up.

Called the number back. Strange no case number was left to reference... just return the call to the IRS. I returned the call and it took over five rings to answer and about 10 seconds for a voice to answer, "This is the IRS. Officer Right speaking."

I told him not to call back.

Scam robo-call claiming IRS final warning and lawsuit had been filed. Left this number for call back. OF COURSE this is a SCAM!!! Called back number from different phone...rang 33 times then it hung up with no answer!

As someone commented earlier, you can file a complaint with the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration's investigative unit at https://www.treasury.gov/tigta/contact_report_scam.shtml
or call 800-366-4484. However, since it's been a week and the phone number is still actively seeking suckers, I suspect it's a wasted effort.

An automated voice mail was left on my mobile phone saying: A lawsuit has been filed against me and to call 347-637-6194. I spoke to two "IRS officers" with Indian accents who said due to 5 miscalculations in my 2007-2013 filings. Threats of incarceration, ceazed property, closed bank accounts and 30K in fees...kept being mentioned. I had 2 options 1) Pay outstanding to keep outside of the court house. 2) Fight it in court and risk 30K in fines and fees... Meanwhile, I googled the number and it was a scam. Received a robo-call from 347-637-6194, claiming a lawsuit if i don't call back. Surprised he picked up - first he didn't say a word. I told him I could hear him breathing. That's when he spoke to me, asking how he could help. I called back immediately and told this guy to stop harassing, said I'd call the police. Mentioned I noticed he had an accent and didn't know the IRS was employing people outside the country. He hung up on me. What a loser!

Got the call moments ago. I called them back just now, some guy with an accent picked up - was very quiet at first but i could hear him breathing. He finally asked (with an accent) how he could help me. I told him to leave me alone, how I know he's full of crap. He hung up. Didn't know the IRS employed foreigners! Number was 347-637-6194.
