Just got an automated call from this number claiming I am late on a payment with Chase Bank Visa card. Said I owe them the annual fee. I pay my bill every month so this can not be true. I hung up as soon as they offered a pay by phone option.

Just got an automated call from this number claiming I am late on a payment with Chase Bank Visa card. I do not have a Chase Bank Visa card. Spoke to a person and they asked for my last 4 digits of SSN. I told them no I would not give them any information because I do not have a card with them. As I was talking with them I looked up this number that the call came from (402) 220-0262 and found it was a potential SPAM number. Told the guy on the phone what I am seeing on the internet and he couldn't explain why and would need some personnel information from from me to verify my account. Told him you don't need to verify my account because I do not have one. Be careful Folks the scammers are out.

Automated call from Chase Bank to pay a "late" payment. My area code is 614 and I deal w/ the Chase Bank here locally. This is fraud. My accounts are made automatically ~ they are NOT in default. Be careful out there!
