These people call at least 3 times a day with out leaving a message, and when you do answer they want to sell you lower intrest rates. I have asked the person at the other end of this phone call at least twice to stop calling and I was not intrested, they proply and rudely hang up. I have tryed to report this number to the national do not call list but they would not accept the complaint yet.

My number is on the Federal Trade Commission's (FTC) national Do Not Call registry.

I received a call from this number - 1-406-948-8001 - at about 2:05 pm on January 12, 2011. My Caller ID displayed the words "Out of Area" and the telephone number. The automated voice said this was "Heather" and she was with "Accounting Services." She said she could lower my credit card debt, blah, blah, blah.

EVERY TIME I receive an unwanted call such as this one I report it to the FTC using its online complaint format. I provide the date, time of the call, what Caller ID displayed and the message if there was one. I have decided to let the FTC know that people are tired of unwanted calls.

These companies/individuals know that most people will not bother to complain to the FTC - that is what they are relying on. Thus, they stay under the FTC's radar. Complaining at this website, other than identifying the caller and letting others know they are not unique, does little to stop the calls.

If more people would complain to the FTC and not just complain on this forum, the FTC WILL take action against these annoying callers. The FTC does not act on one complaint alone. It takes many complaints before they will take action - but they DO take action if enough citizens complain.

They have called twice today and it's not even noon! I pressed 2 to "discontinue notices" and was directed to a live representative. When I told her I wanted to discontinue receiving phone calls, she hung up on me.

I've been receiving calls the past few days about lowering my interest rates on my credit cards...press 1. Today, I pressed "1" to speak to a live agent since pressing "2" to stop the calls hasn't worked.
I asked the live agent which of my cards he represented and he said all of them, Chase, Bank of America, Citibank and Capitol One. Not revealing whether or not I have one or any of them, he asked me to confirm that I had a balance of over $3000 on them. When I responded with since you're calling about my cards, I would assume you would know that, he hung up on me.
Being the the telcom biz, I believe this number is being outpulsed by a company called Logic Solutions.

Total scam. I've received the same call from several different numbers. What you see on caller ID is a spoofed number (meaning they find a number and put it up on your caller ID). Last time I got the call they were using one of Union Bank's internal numbers.

A recording tells you your time is almost up to get low interest rates on your credit cards, and to press 1 to have your number removed and 2 to speak to a representative. The minute you demand the name of the company or challenge them, they hang up.

DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY INFO. They will try to get you to give your credit card number, social security number, etc. If you gave them your information before reading this, alert your credit cards and banks immediately.

Carl called and ssked if i pressed # 1 to lower my interest rate. I said I pressed # 2 and he said I "quote" Fuck Off" and hung up on me.
This happened 11/26/10 1:15 pm PST.
Can anyone help follow up to see if this company and person can be held accountable?
