Yet ANOTHER hang-up robo call. These calls are similar to the "GRI" type that try to get you to call them back, simply out of curiosity. Then, since you called them, they can say they didn't violate the DO NOT CALL list. WATCH OUT! These guys are very close to the edge in that they are getting your info and may be quietly stealing your identity and sharing it around to other predatory callers. These guys should all be jailed in a crowded cell, with insufficient food to cause them to prey on each other.

I just received a call with no message left at all. This sort of "robo call" happens all the time here as a form of validation because if you hang up quickly many a telemarketer/program will then call you back.

This is used as a form of verification of the potential client being "home" and able to answer calls.

It happens too often and this is an interruption in the time with my family. Forgoing the inane need for me to "pay" for a phone company to NOT list my number where in all other things in the world it costs TO print anything anywhere.

This needs to be addressed in an effort to truly represent the populace and the needs of the citizenry. This has gone on for decades and it needs to be stopped should you truly be interested in representing the American citizenry.
