Abusive debt collection agency

This number has called my cell phone 3 times so far today...9:28 AM, 11:01 AM, and 1:40 PM and they have not left a message. Typically, I don't answer numbers I don't recognize. I called the number back and they said they were NCO and asked for my number. Then they said they were trying to collect a debt I owe to PayPal. I asked them not to call me again and then chose to pay my past due paypal account online. It seems strange that I never got a notice in the mail from them.
