Called (number not on my call list for Verizon) and said there was suspicious activity on my Verizon email account. Said to go change password & left an 800 number for customer service. Said my account was limited due to this activity. 1st there were no alerts on my account, 2. no email notices, and 3. I had not set up any alert to call the landline phone.

They claimed to be Rachel from Verizon but it is the same voice from the credit card scam.

Annoying calls from this number, belongs to MCIMETRO ATS INC. Why do they do it? How can we stop them? Any ideas

Calls multiple times per day, lets it ring more than 10 times if you don't answer. Finally did, and got nothing but a recording, that announced the availability of new HD service I already signed up for weeks ago. I waited for a salesperson so I could complain, but after the message it simply hung up.
