Heavily Indian Accented man called from this number stating that he was Officer Anderson with the Office of Investigations with the IRS. Proceeded to tell me I was going to be arrested for not paying back taxes and every question that I asked made him more irate! Said I was going to be arrested in 45 minutes and I was not going to be able to bail out or anything. He would see me in court. Wouldn't tell me how much I owed or anything, said it would all be on the warrant. Scared the SHIT out of me at first. Then I googled the number and found out it was definitely a scam. Reported to local sheriff, IRS Fraud Unit, and FTC.

Someone from this number called my wife claiming to be an IRS agent. He said his name was Dan Robinson, but he sounded like he was from somewhere in the Near East. His message also sounded like it was electronically disguised. I have been working with the IRS long enough over the years to know that they don't operate this way. I have reported this number to the FTC and the IRS fraud unit.
