received a call from this number and it sounded like an asian man, he asked me how i was and if i can hear him then cut the call and i must say i was tempted on calling hm back to find out what the call was about but i saw this........................im not at all happy with getting scam calls because im an honest South African individual who has never engaged in any fraudulant activities and dont understand why i should be a victim of hackers.

This was a caller and just hung up.

The number cannot be called back because, as you know with technology, the "caller ID" can be hacked and given a false number.

Just like when the number is blocked, the caller ID displays, "private number" or "number blocked".. so why couldn't the blocked number display "14161234567"? it is the same thing.

Of course this is a fake number. But only someone with programming experience in mobile phone technology could duplicate this trickery. The same way hackers set up false reply emails to ghost emails that don't exist.

Best Effort On Your Part: Do not accept phone calls from unknown numbers, don't replay to unknown texts, don't answer questions from "so called representatives", don't give out personal information, don't fill out any form to win prizes because it is just a mailing list/phone list scam even from know corporations.

He just called and hung up...tried calling back and phone is out of service.

Got a call from this number and missed it. Tried to call back and not a working number.
I think it is scam.

ERASE THIS CALLER!!! Don't know how caller is obtaining cell phone numbers, but don't open any texts or voice messages from this number.
