That number just called my TracFone. I happened to catch it and said hello. A woman asked to speak with someone whose name sounded Hindi. Jinjevar Singh? I had to ask her to repeat it three times because my name starts with the J sound but it is about as far away from Hindi as it could be.

She didn't seem convinced that Jinjivitis wasn't at this number. S/he isn't. I don't even know anyone by that name. I mean, I love Indian food, but that's about as far as it goes.

Rogers

It's Rogers. My cable box wasn't working . Rogers technical department told me to "exchange" it. When I tried to do this they told me the tech had put "return" instead of exchane. This put a work order on their file to CANCEL my cable. Apparently, they can't reverse that because I owe them $100. Which I assured them would be paid this week. Then I was told I would have to pay a reconnection fee, FOR THEIR MISTAKE !!!! I took my equipment back and switched providers. Now, they are calling 5 times a day, sending someone to my door and leaving notes on the outside of out townhouse complex for all to see.
Report them for calling so much. Contact their President...his emailison their web site under make a complaint. Everytime their number comes up on your phone, send him an email...see how he likes to be harassed!

It's Rogers calling because your account is "past due". The "dead air" is the pause before the recording kicks in: it's an autodialler. My opinion is this: if I forget to pay my bill by the due date, and they charged me $8 and change in late fees (which they do), then they can wait until the NEXT due date to get my payment for all of it! After all, they've charged me a fee to have that option extended to me, as far as I'm concerned. But of course, they'll call 4 or 5 times each day to annoy you, and sometimes they'll block their number display to try to fool you. Take my advice: don't try to argue with these chimps. Hit ignore, try not to forget to pay your bill by the due date, and keep browsing the web for better deals from other less-annoying providers.

416-645-2105 - calls my cell EVERYDAY, at least 2-3 times a day, even 6am and midnight! What's up with this?

As soon as I answer the call, I get a bip and it hangs up.
