Female caller identifying from CITI FRAUD DEPARTMENT. She knew my name and asked me to verify two recent charges, which I did. She then thanked me, said goodbye and hung up.

Fellow with heavy Indian accent said he was calling from "Sears Consumer Protection". I had to listen to the call many times to understand what he was saying. The name he was asking for was my ex-wife, she hasn't lived here in 15 years. Definitely a scam, I can't believe their still using the same number over so many years.

somehow they got in touch with a contractor working for me, not sure what was said between them but they convinced him a check I had written to him was put on hold in his Citibank account until I could verify my account info to them. He provided my phone number to them but I missed the call. Due to the unusual request from the contractor I called Citibank and confirmed with their fraud department this number is a scam. Do not engage.

An Indian woman with a lot of background noise called saying they were from City Security Investigations. Then the call dropped. This is a scam!

Fraud call from phony CITI card office notifying me of fraudulent usage. DON'T give them any important info. CALL the number on the back of your card to check for sure.

Scam!!!!! Somehow knew my name and number. They called asking from my credit card information. Don't call the number they provide! Call Citibank Customer Service 1-800-374-9700.

It is a scam. They say they are Citibank fraud dept and ask for your card number. If they leave a message they leave an 877 number. If you call that number someone says “Citibank” but it’s not. She will ask for your card number right away. NONE OF THESE CALLS ARE FROM CUTIBANK. Don’t give out any information!!!

Called today saying from CitiBank fraud. They were not. The awful part- CitiBank fraud claimed it really was them and tried to transfer me, which didn't connect. Cancelling CitiBank. Costco made huge error getting rid of AmEx.

Calling regarding a credit card we did not apply for saying we had given incomplete information. Course, they had to verify that I am the right person by checking my address, income, etc. They suggested I call Citibank at an 800 number, I told them I'd look the number up myself.
