I got a call while I was at work around 15:19 saying I won a $100 voucher shopping card that turned into a rebate check then into a rebate card. This was after I kept asking what it was because I'm hard of hearing and I wanted to make sure this wasn't a scame, usually they'll change it up frequently. Asked for the company name and after a bit of confusion google helped me out in finding out the name of it was Save2Day, which a quick look it was reported as spam, virus ridden (for places that were unprotected), and a scam. I actually work at a target and usually with rebate checks we apply a discount to certain items that the check covers. Asked her if it was a debit or credit pre-paid shopping card, "oh it's a shopping card that's it. It's a mastercard shopping card, it's not a credit or debit card". So more red flags went off because Target will accept pre-paid debit/credit cards and gift cards, visa/mastercard ones only usually. So with all that knowledge I couldn't use it at target and walmart is the same way. Went on to asking how I would receive it and she said "It'll cost $4.39 for S/H and we'll mail it to you." Since this was over $100 that's not how it works but usually it's within 1-2 business days of receiving it as to keep anything funny from happening. Not 7-14 business days for a simple card/check. The number I was called from is 929-223-0041, first thing that popped up was "welcome to Reward Redemption" and then the lady 'manager' I talked to said it was "Save2Day" company, what a coincidence I was also talking to the very rude, impatient, and bitchy manager.
If you get a call from someone saying their company is Save2Day, Savetoday, or Reward Redemption, just say you'll sue them for harassment.
Got a call today from 469 217 3970, called it back and muddled my way through to talking to a representative. Asked to get my number taken off and they hung up on me while they said they were "getting to it." call them back demanding a manager and proceed to get hung up on 4 more times before finally getting someone who would talk to me only to get a customer service number and her name (Vina Lopez if that even was the person's real name) Customer Service number: 844 822 8148. so called them up and asked to speak to a manager about getting hung up on all those times and the woman i spoke to said you don't need a manager for that i can do that for you and proceeded to "take my number off the call list" i put it in quotes because i highly doubt that they even do that and then began to go off on me for asking for a manager again saying that "they are all busy in meetings so we can have the boss call you later" which is key for: not a chance in hell.
So fuck these people and don't fall for their fuck ass scams :D
junk call. scam. comes up on display as kirtland oh 440-606-0099
Yep. I've been getting calls fitting above descriptions. The most recent number was 615-447-9817. The man who I talked to was Indian and said his organization was called Save2Today and asked for my name. I gave him a fake name and birthday and he said that I was eligible for $100 in rewards for purchasing from one of their retailers (he said these included Target, WalMart, BestBuy, amongst others). I then told him I gave him fake info and asked him how the hell he knew I was eligible if I provided a fake name. He doesn't give an answer. I then asked him what I had purchased at one of their retailers to earn me this reward. He said none of this information was available to him, that I could Google 'Save2day' for reassurance and then proceeded to ask for my name again. I said I'd go Google it and then call back. He then repeats to ask me for my real information. Scam scam scam scam
