did not answer as did not know #, call from all different #'s and is same company. Yes i do owe debt and am aware of it. told them unable to pay due to being disabled but they don't care.

This is the 8th phone number Portfolio Recovery has used to call me. I am not who they are trying to collect from. I have explained this to them, over, and over, and over, and over... yet they still call me. They want me to send them proof I am me, and not the other person. really? I am a woman and they are trying to collect from a man...what other proof might be needed? They harass and threaten me. Tell me I am irresponsible. Refuse to listen when I tell them I am me. I continue now to block every number they use to call me to it goes directly to voice mail. Every day, usually twice, they call. Once per week they might leave a message. It says, "We are tying to reach _____, if you are not ____, please disregard this message." I AM NOT ____!!!!

Before I got Call Control for my Android, I had my block list for PRA at 27 numbers. I am told they have over 100. DO NOT TALK WITH THEM. DO NOT REPLY TO ANY MESSAGE AND DO NOT PICK UP ANY CALL YOU DO NOT KNOW THE I.D. These bottom-feeding scum buy old alleged debts, past the Statue of Limitations and alleged debts that have been written off by the alleged original creditors for pennies on the dollar. They will not go away. If you even allude to there MAY having been a debt years ago - they gotcha. They can even go so far as to 1099 you with the IRS for example an alleged debt of $5K when they bought the alleged debt for 5 bucks.
