I just received a call - didnt answer. My phone notified me of a voicemail, so I played teh message and it was just dead silence. My VM gave me teh option to "return the message sender's call - press 8". So I did - and someone picked up on teh first ring and said: "HELLO - THIS IS DANIEL". I just hung up since I do not know anyone by that name and figured it was some type of agency of some sort calling randomly.

They call and call and call but never leave a message, When I contact them, they have no idea who I am??? If it continues I will have to have a FACE to FACE during or after work hours,,, when I visit family in their area this summer!!!!!!!

Called today looking for unknown as usual. Company is Asset Acceptance, LLC, Warren, MI, and if you want to take the time to look this article up online, they were just hit with a 2.5 million civil fine to settle deception allegations by the Federal Trace Commission.

This country is in one helluva mess and the one of the worst since the Great Depression (1929, I believe). It is so sad that so many people are in so much need for just the bare necessities to survive and unemployment rate at an all time high.

People say "don't live beyond your means", "don't borrow what you can't pay back", blah, blah and blah. Point being "Noone has a much of a choice at this particular time".

They call me at least once a week. They never leave a message and if I answer they never respond. I call back to yell at them and the phone seems like it's answered but there is no response.

Asset Acceptance has called here for months for various people that do not live here, have never lived here and will not live here as they are completely unknown. Filed a complaint with the BBB in Eastern Michigan for harrassment and the calls stopped for awhile, only to start again. The last time I looked, AA has a rating with the BBB of A, which should be F. If everyone would flood the BBB with complaints, instead of just complaining to a non-action "gripe board" maybe things would improve for all of us.
