It was an automated call identifying themselves as AMREX...that they had an important message for me. I called Amrex on back of my credit card and gave them the number 602-537-9011. Amrex said it wasn't them and that there was nothing wrong with my credit card.
I called back just out of curiosity -602-537-9011. The lady was very surly and unprofessional...it's a scam for sure.

This is a scam - folks pretending to be from American Express, trying to fool you into paying them money or trying to get your personal information
