air miles scam
I recieved a call stating i had won 100,000 air miles, press 1 to accept. Funny things is i havent used that air miles card in over a year. To top it off my phone number is unlisted so they should not of had it on file. So i terminated the call.
Airmiles scam promotion trying to offer you a trip
Automated message saying you have won Airmiles points and to press one. If you press one they phish for credit card information.
I got a call from 1 604 909 8778 telling me I had won a million air miles. They asked if I was over 25 and had a valid credit card. I said yes. Then then I was transferred to another guy who said he would go over all the details and I could decide if this was something I would be interested in. Clearly I did not win anything and would have to purchase something to maybe or maybe not get any air miles. Sounds like a scam to me.
I told him I was on registered on the national do not call list and to attempt to sell me goods or services was against the law. There was a long pause and I hung up. I checked the national do not call list and my cell was not on it lol. No big deal I re registered.
