IRS SCAM
Bad accent, wanted me to run the control panel, thats when i hung up the phone.
Received a call asking if I was still in the market for an auto loan. I asked where hid office is located and he said San Mateo, CA. Of course, I'm looking at a New York number on my cell. Told him I don't recognize the company or recall applying to it. I guess I asked too many questions, because he finally said, "Do you want the loan or not?" I said no thanks and hung up.
said his name was Jack( I think but was hard to tell with the heavy accent) From Windows support. I said oh this is the scam call. What do you want? He said " to scam you". I said get lost and hung up.
IT IS A SCAM!!!
said it was a call from "Windows" and I have a virus on my computer. In order to delete the virus this person wanted me to enter a code on the address line of computer.
Of course, I didn't and told him to stop bothering me. Hung up.
