two different guys (can't remember their names one was peter something) say they are with the law office of Howard A Fletcher ( I think it's hard to understand becuase of their accent) saying they need to notify me of alligations on my name and social security number. I was getting them before from a different number and the lawyer said to contact some organiztion...that I can't remember but before I did that the calls seemed to stop. Now with a different number they have started again and several times a day at all different times. The lawyer said it's a scam any one have any ideas how to stop them for good. Sometimes they are very rude.
Someone from this number called me this morning also & I could not understand the man either. They also told me that there was a lawsuit against me & he wanted my lawyers name & number so he could send the information to them. It was hard to communicate since it was so hard to understand but he did read me my social security number back to me so that has me worried a little bit. So, this is a scam right?

This number first called and left a message telling me or my attorney to contact him. He stated that his name was Robin Henry. I called back and spoke with him; from what I could understand he was telling me that there was something going on with my Social Security Number... and he gave me the last 4 digits to assure me. He said much more but I really couldnt understand much; but he eventually hung up. He called back the next day from a different number {805-334-6196} and told me to call the number above to speak with Daxter Curuz.. I spoke to Daxter and he told me that his client is charging me with 3 different criminal offenses, one that had to do with tampering with a federal bank, social security and theft by deception.

OMG they gave me the same name, Dexter Curuz, I told him to leave me alone and when i did not call the number he gave me they called me back and told me that I would be in Jail on Monday for six months...Im still here....lol...Ha Ha, I was suppose to be in Jail on Monday, well Monday passed and Im still sitting here at home...its a scam I wouldnt give them any information If there were any kind of lawsuit against you, you would have at least received something in the mail. They called me three times and told me if i did not continue to listen to them I would be in jail on monday for six months.....I reported them to the Attorney General's office, I dont know what they will do about it but i did report them. dont let them stress you out.
My call/message was practically the same as Rita Reader - could not understand the gentleman but I think he said his name was Ben. The message was harassing to me.
I have emailed our local news reporter here who covers this kind of news to see if he knows anything about this numgber and who the company is.
