Didnt speak good english asked me when we served first and last customer and when my employees left. I told then would be contacting the police and hung up.

He claimed to want to "verify" information about me, which I was NOT comfortable sharing with a complete stranger (not sure if it truly IS Google Maps).

Person claims to be a Google representative. I get calls like this all day and they're frequently from area codes all over the U.S. I've reached a point where when they call I don't initially indicate that they're calling my business, Supreme Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning Service. This representative wanted to know if I had a website that I was going to connect to Google (Maps). While I am taking action regarding the online marketing of my business, I just don't feel comfortable discussing this with a stranger. The last time I received a similar call, I saw another of my business locations drop off of Google Maps without provocation (914-381-7305). I was told by a Google representative that typically if there were any concerns they would reach out through an email address which is published along with my internet information.
