calls saying i owe money on account that doesnt exist

Someone saying her name was Gina Called. She had called me back in June saying i have $5,000 in credit card debt that i was going to get sent to court for but that I could settle for $1200.00. I actually was woried because i did have two small credit cards that i had balances on from when i was a college student that i didnt pay together both were less than 700 one was 200 and one 500 neither i think were maxed out. So i figured out a way to come up with 1200 but after googling and reading about scam i tried to call and never got through. So i just ignored it. However today the same lady called saying i was going to court and that it would now be over 8000. luckily i have a friend that i always talk to but i really get worried out this. They have called me harrassing me at work called my boss. I dont want this to go against me at work

Calling constantly, several times a (work) day. Never leaves a message. Frequency seems to have increased since reporting to DoNotCall registry where my phone is registered. Perhaps if more people file a complaint there, this will stop.
