Tried to call this number back, but it will not go thru. Calls every day. Silly, firefighters do better than calling people's homes. Indeed it is a scam. Shame on them.

The spammer is still using this number. Caller ID now shows just the letter i.

Georgia Firefighters Association called to "make sure all smoke and CO2 detectors were tested and have fresh batteries"

Thanked him for the reminder and hung up before the sales pitch

Be very wary of these folks! They also use a 404-400-1248 number. They use high pressure ... guilt trips ... highly aggressive ... will keep a, "rap sheet on you," and call back months later and refer to what was said at last contact. YOU CANNOT REASON WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!!! HANG UP!!! THEY ARE HIGHLY TRAINED IN INTIMIDATION TACTICS! IF YOU SAY YOU CANNOT DONATE ... THEY REVERT TO PLAN B AND ASK THAT YOU PLEDGE--- BIG MISTAKE IF YOU DO. THEY SEND YOU A HUGE ENVELOPE OF USELESS TRINKETS THEN CALL BACK AND SAY HEY PAY UP YOU PLEDGED. I'M ON A DO NOT CALL LIST AND THEY CALLED ME. I QUESTION IF THEY ARE EVEN LEGIT. IF YOU GET A CALL, ASK FOR THEIR PHYSICAL OFFICE ADDRESS.

I live in Georgia & I know this is a scam. Keeps call in the early am between 9:00 am - 10:00 am claiming to be from the Georgia Firefighters Associatuon. The guy has a really loud voice. Just another scam organization!!!!

The person said they were with the Georgia Firefighters Association and was asking for money. I hung-up the phone. No proof of identity.
