This number belongs to the HOPE HOUSE. They are a charity that provides for people that are transitioning from domestically violent and abusive relationships. They were calling to see if you had any clothing or reusable household items to support the cause. The hope house has been an active charity for over two years and are currently housing 18 children from five families. They are in partnership with PADV. After being in an abusive relationship for years, I didn’t believe there was a way out. With four children and no where to go I didn’t know what to do. But then a friend of mine told me about the Hope House. I was able to live with them while I pursued my nursing degree. They provided me with free childcare and the facilities I needed to become a CAN. I am now employed at a nursing home where I care for the elderly. Without the hope house this would not have been possible.

Abuse is a pattern of physical, sexual, economic and/or psychological violence used to get control and maintain control over an intimate partner. It is important to know that you do not deserve to be abused, nor are you responsible for the abuse.
