"Uh yes hi, [name], uh, this is investigator frazier. Um, about this request file here, um, a pending case in my office here, um, with the King County Department of Alleged Fraud against you in 48 hours. Um, now, I do need an immediate call back here possible, matter, this is regarding case file 11-396651. Your social security number [incorrect number] lists you as a person that is fully responsible for this alleged fraud. If this is in error I may be able to remove your name and social security number. To be glad to stop any legal proceedings against yourself. Now I do look forward to assisting you here in this, in this case, here for the alleged fraud against you, but if not that's okay I do wish you good luck."
Improper grammer, stuttering, no actual case detail, incorrect information, requests immediate response. All point to a scam.
Caller said they were an Investigator Frazier and were calling about a returned check on my account. They asked if the last 4 numbers of my ss# were 6198. I said no. Asked if my birthdate was 12/31/78 and I said no. Tried spelling my last name but I said it was not spelled correctly. Did not give them any of my information but was definitely a suspicious call.
